It’s a working copy of Udooku with a made-up beauty school inside it. You don’t have to sign up or hand over an email address. Take attendance, change a grade, issue a certificate. Nothing you do in there matters.

What you’re looking at
Example Beauty Academy
Named that way on purpose. It isn’t a real school and those aren’t real students. It’s set up to look like a small BBC-approved campus halfway through a term.
Names, addresses and email addresses are all generated. Nothing in there belongs to a real person or a real school.
Worth doing first
Five things that answer most questions
Each takes under a minute, and each shows you something a feature list can’t.
- Take attendance for a whole class
Cohorts, then Cosmetology Foundations, then Attendance. Mark everyone present, then switch two students to absent and one to tardy. Watch the percentage move as you go.
- Look at one student end to end
Students, then any active one. Profile, documents, academics, billing, placement and the change log all sit on the same record, so there’s nothing to reconcile between systems.
- Issue a document, then void it
Open a graduated student, go to Academics, and issue a Certificate of Completion. Download the PDF, then void it. The voided copy stays in the list for good. Issued records never disappear.
- Run the completion-rate report
Compliance, then BPPE Annual Report. Pick a year and run it across all programs, then run it for one. Download the CSV to see the submission roster it builds.
- Sign in as the instructor
Sign out and come back as
[email protected]. Compliance, billing and the student roster are gone. That’s the permission model working, not a setting you have to go and configure.
Now see it with your own students in it
Send an export from whatever you use now and you’ll get a private link back with your own roster loaded in. It’s free and there’s nothing to sign.
